Born and raised in Philadelphia, Bendak began dancing in small productions of A Chorus Line and Annie. It wasn't until she took drama classes in High School that she realized her passion for acting. After High School, she focused on a career as a hair-stylist/make-up Artist. Feeling as though something something was missing, Bendak decided to take classes at the Wilma Theater. Since then, she has attended several workshops in New York and LA, where she hopes to someday relocate. Today, Karen continues to do extra work in addition to small roles in independent films.
