Mark Kochanowicz began his acting training in college at Penn State University. Though never pursuing acting due to band commitments in the Philadelphia college music scene in the 90's, it was not until early 2002 that Mark decided to formally continue developing the craft of acting and left music behind. Since then, Mark has been studying film acting under the tutelage of casting director Mike Lemon, CSA.

A Philadelphia resident, this actor travels to and from New York City and Philadelphia for work in the acting and modeling industry. Though he prefers film acting, Mark is never afraid of a challenge and will make his stage debut in Manhattan, NYC in an off-off Broadway short piece call "Religious Differences" in October 18-20, 2002. He is represented in New York by Ikon Model Management's Artists Division and is a model for of M-Model Management/Awoo.

Mark Kochanowicz is a non-union actor who frequently auditions for independent films. Though he is SAG eligible, Mark hopes to make a name in independent films before entering into the union only market. Look for him in the upcoming CBS television show "Hack" and the film "Jersey Girl" where he has provided background work.
